Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever
is noble, whatever is lovely, whatever is
admirable
- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. --
Philippians 4:8 |

PRAYER WORKS |
Have you ever had a need, one that friends or
family couldn't meet?
Maybe they just didn't care;
but, basically, there was nothing they could do.
Or, maybe you're one of those people, those who are all alone.
Have you ever felt like that - forsaken, abandoned, or lost?
Nowhere to turn, not knowing the way;
in all of these cases, the person should pray.
Prayer works, everywhere, everyday.
Don't let your faith waiver or have a doubt.
Imagine the child, losing both loving parents,
crying every night, but still kneeling to pray.
God gave him new parents who care and love.
Then there's the man down on his luck;
he always did things his way, now those ways don't work.
God's way always works, so the man turns to prayer.
Everything now has a positive outcome.
The woman's a hiker, camper, explorer.
On top of the mountain a winter storm rages;
bounded in by snow, cold and hungry, she prays.
The very next night, rescuers arrive.
And then there's the man with many health problems,
heart failure and coma - the doctors say no chance.
The family leaves the outcome to God with prayer.
Now health has returned, God is working His plan.
No matter what you face, no matter how hopeless and grim,
don't let worries and fears take control, just give them to Him.
Is it a punishment for sin or a test of faith?
Here on this earth we can never be sure.
Every occurrence is part of His plan.
If you have a need - pray. Prayer works. |
